Total Meltdowns 2024-2025

A series of works made by literally throwing clay and seeing where it all lands, adding glass and glaze and remnants of Staffordshire figure heads. The serendipity of what happens in the kiln.
An unknown, an emotional state of transition, a space which can be a trigger for a state of unease, anxiety and awkwardness .A space where you can have a Total Meltdown. 

A meltdown does not have to be negative, it can be physical state of something “other”, that can be made into something new.
