Dandy, a very handsome chap on the dance floor, head held high and caught in a swing of a groove. He is part of the collection of Total Meltdowns which were made in 2024 in my large studio in Hove. Literally I was throwing clay, working with the shape that was left with a thud and using the remnants of broken Staffordshire figurine heads. I loved making these figures, the shove, the clunk and the serendipity of glaze and glass forming the clothes that these figures now wear .
